House passes repeal of dont ask, dont tell – Politics – Capitol Hill – msnbc.com

The U.S. House of Representatives voted to repeal the “Don’t Ask – Don’t Tell law, however, it remains to be seen wether the issue will get a vote in the U.S. Senate before the end of the session.  Two Senators have sponsored legislation they say, if it gets to the floor for a vote – has the needed 60 votes to pass.  It remains to be seen however, if the Senate will have time, or the will power to act on this, as they are currently also working through an Arms treate with Russia, and Major funding for the U.S. Goverment.
